I just checked the other day and I have like 700 followers on Pinterest but I only follow like 100 people so there is obviously a disconnect somewhere.
Pinterest has just become my favorite social media. I feel like I keep in touch with people by looking at their pins. My mom, sister and cousins all pin now and I have reconnected with a college friend (Hey Amber!) and kept in touch with one of my oldest friends (Love ya Jaime) via Pinterest.
So I need to follow more people...
I thought it would be fun for everyone who is on Pinterest to answer a question and leave a link to their Pinterest page so I can start following. Here goes...
We all pin recipes and design ideas but what is a quirky thing that you like to pin (i.e. kittens wearing glasses, a fave celebrity, etc.)?
My answer is that I have an entire board dedicated to my love of Harry Potter. I also like pinning old school stuff like the see through Swatch phone my sister had in high school and that little calculator I had that looked like a professor with a beard. I also have an entire board dedicated to wallpaper.

I have several boards including a Wallpaper board too!! Some of my favorites are my "sisters" "table scapes" "gifts" (but that just the way gifts are wrapped not whats inside) and then i have 6 or 7 board committed to all things in particular colors like red, green, yellow, purple...#ADDICTED
I love to pin anything sea-related. Shells, seahorses, waves, sand, etc. I live at the beach & I love pins that inspire me to incorporate that fascination into decorating my apartment (and wardrobe!).

OK, first of all, that HP pic in this post made me tear up!! I'm still going through withdrawal.
My fave quirky things to pin are: a) turtles. Love them.
b) Olivia Palermo. She just kills it with every single outfit. Pretty sure if she saw my Pinterest board she would think I was borderline stalker.

I dont think I pin anything too random except for baby things (for a baby I dont have nor have conceived yet). That is slightly weird right?
I loove pinterest! I organize my boards with song lyrics which confuses even me sometimes (weird!), but two things that I always repin are scarves and hairstyles! OH yeah...and plaid of any kind!!

Will I be accused of stalking if I follow you on pinterest also? My boards are pretty run-of-the-mill (my "fullest" one has fun ideas of things to do with the kids), but I do have a board that is about books and different locations/images that remind me of certain scenes out of books I've read.

The car thing is random but those are always gorgeous now that you mention it Kate. I love to pin about future things like babies and I still pin my dream wedding although I am happily married. I jumped into Pinterest about two weeks ago. I waited so long because I didn't have a facebook or twitter account, and didn't want to join either of them (I like to be off the grid in my "real" life). On my husband's suggestion, I finally broke down and set up a facebook account for my blog so I could start pinning. I am now full on addicted, and have been trying to move over inspirational photos from my blog to my pin account.
Sort of like Mrs. Limestone, I'm pinning lots of ideas for children's rooms, and I don't have any children yet! But I hope to one day.
